Emilio Pucci is best known for its colourful signature geometric prints often referred to as Pucci prints. This luxury label produces ready-to-wear clothes and accessories for women and accessories for men. Its bags are bright, bold and beautiful, never shying away from bright colours or quirky detailing.
Emilio Pucci was initially spotted by the fashion set in 1947 for his skiwear designs. He soon set up an haute couture house on the Isle of Capri focusing on swimwear later adding brightly coloured, boldly patterned silk scarves, blouses and printed silk dresses to his collections. Emilio’s daughter, Laudomia Pucci, took over after his death in 1992. The French Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Group purchased a majority stake in 2000 appointing notable Creative Directors including Christian Lacroix (2002-05) and Matthew Williamson (2005-09).
